my wife and i went the route of doing a k1 visa. we are now ready to send in her packet for aos.

now is it better to write three diferent checks out to homeland security for the aos and fingerprint fee of 395, ap for 170, and her work auth for 180 or just write one check for 745?

i understand that she doesnt need to send in a fingerprint form but needs to pay the fee anyhow. correct?

what about her med exam. i read that she only needs to send in her vaccination records. we didn't get a copy of it. the gov. took the whole packet when she entered. so what form do i need to send for the vac records? or will that be necesary?

You write three separate checks. The fingerprint fee is required and can be added to the cost of the I-485 for a total of $395.

To have the vaccination supplement filled out you would definitely need your spouse's vaccination record. You or your spouse may need to contact the person who administered the vaccinations, her family doctor or health clinic, etc. As far as the medical goes, as long as it's been less than a year according to the USCIS guidelines you are fine. Anything over a year would require a new medical.

Best wishes. :)

I wrote out one check for everything, $745, and they cashed it just fine and we are already approved for EAD and AP two weeks later.
