The new law from the government don't want people with bad credit score seeking green card, etc...

the new law starting FEB 24th:

----

So, Im outside the US for more than 6 months, I will probably land in the US after 9-10 months of my departure ( so I ll be seeking admittance )

I know the risks of CBP saying that I abandoned my residence, so I ll bring a lot of proof to show them that I did not abandoned and the reasons for my long trip.

( Im a conditional resident )

Im married to a US citizen. we file tax together and everything BUT I just realized my credit score is really bad.

Back in 2019 I had Credit card debts and because of my unexpected time overseas, I did not make those payments on time. So that messed up my credit really bad.

I paid the credit cards already but my credit still really bad.

I never asked for any financial assistance from the government, never asked for food stamps, or etc. To be honest, my spouse and my parents pay for all my bills. I am a full time student right now.

Do u guys think Im gonna be denied entry at the airport because of my credit score????

The aspect that may or may not cause an issue is your extended absence.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
