The Morocco embassy is very slow in issuing visas. It's not unusual for it to take 1-3 months. Your mileage may vary. Be sure you are following your case on CEAC.

Just about everyone goes through this process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:

  • the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa
  • the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance
  • the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork
  • the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then the "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, but the embassy controls how long it takes as there is the possibility there are additional steps prior to issuance.

The K-1 is treated as an immigrant visa as it is processed through each step from submission to the embassy. Once you are approved it reverts to a non-immigrant visa with immigrant intent. This is the only visa that is treated this way. This is normal and nothing to worry about. I've been told if you use your DS-160 confirmation number the search is much faster. Good luck and safe travels.

thank you for more informations

Since you are new here I'd like to have a teaching moment so that you can get more out of VJ and those who will help in answering your questions.

1. Use the quote tab to start an answer to someone. If you look above in this post you will see a box with your name and your reply. With this we know one who you are addressing your reply to and two what the reply is. Here is an example of what that tab looks like.

2. We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks and here is a picture of what that looks like when finished. I hope this helps. Good luck on your visa journey.
