My wife has her EAD/AP card.

We just noticed it expires in early December of 2020.

What to expect here ?

Can this be renewed ?

Will she have to quit work on that date?

Should we expect the green card before then ?

EAD cards from AOS from a K-1 are good for a year. You can apply to renew it (still free) if you don't have your green card by the time it expires (I don't remember if you can apply six months before it expires or 3 months); the NOA1 from the renewal extends the EAD automatically (but doesn't extend the AP of a combo card).

It's very likely you will have your GC before Dec 2020, though of course there are no guarantees. The VJ average for AOS in Orlando is about 10 months.

OK, hopefully that will work out.  She got her NOA1 in November.

How does one renew the EAD ?  Same form?

And as for the AP?  Is that just a new application (and 5 month wait?)
