Yes, that is what we decided to do. We just got the correct long form copy of my husbands birth certificate in the mail, so now we just need to re-do the paperwork since the 10/15/19 versions are out and then also figure out what all we need to include for the new I-944. Once that is all complete and I've got the money together we will get it in the mail to re-file, we are hoping by the end of next week!

I am working on filling out the new i485 and associated forms - does any one know if i need to include anything on this portion since this is our second filing?

Put the i-130 case number and priority date there and include a copy of I-130 noa1.

Thank you!  is the priority date the date that USCIS accepted to i-130?

Normally in a different box but that works

One additional question, if they decide my husband does not need to re-do his fingerprints, will they refund the $85 fee?

They won't.  Asking USCIS to refund something is hoping pigs to fly anyway.

I believe you can pay that at the time of the biometrics appointment, if necessary?

does anyone have any idea about the new i-944 form? it requires my husband to send evidence of a credit report/score or lack thereof, however there is no way to even do this without an SSN. the reporting agencies won't let you proceed whatsoever without an SSN to even see if there is a report. we called USCIS for clarification, but the tier 1 agent was pretty much clueless and told us "i don't think this form should even apply to your husband since he is not an LPR" but then directed us to call back tomorrow between 7-10am as they had already closed transfers to tier 2 agents for the day.
