I was on Student Visa in US for 1 year. Travelled to home country and while coming back, I got expedite removed from the Airport. Visa got revoked. I didn't received any forms from the Custom CBP. What to do?

Why were you removed?

We will need a bit more information to give any useful reply.

Which visa was it? When would it expire? Which country do you come from. What did they tell you at port of entry? They must’ve told you a reason for all of this. There is more to it than just this and without that information no one can give you useful information.

So they did what they should have, you were going to do ( had done ? ) things not allowed on your visa.  Another non  immigrant visa will probably be difficult.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I would look to see how you can finish your education in your home country.

Was on F1 Student Visa. Was helping a friend at his business for few days and there were records of it on Phone which was checked by CBP at Chicago Airport while returning. Student Visa cant have employement during studies, so I guess they revoked visa.

I don’t think there are easy ways to come back from this. Did they tell you about a ban?

Nothing to do.  You violated the terms of your visa, and it was revoked.  Like Boiler said, you can finish your education elsewhere.

Unless he has an Immigrant option, probably unlikely, a ban is not that relevant.

Serves as a reminder to people to “not breach conditions of visa” if you worked when not permitted to do so and got caught out, you’ve really got no complaint. CBP did their job.

Ban or no ban, there is not another F1 in the poster’s future. The most practical suggestion is to look for study options outside the US (and outside countries that ask about any visa revocations, entry denials etc on their visa forms, like U.K., Australia, Canada).

The fact that they took the time to look at the phone implies there was probably something that raised suspicion in the first place. They can do so at any time, but it's rare unless they are already suspecting something.

Then they saw something.

Then there was an expedited removal instead of just letting them withdraw their application for entry.

Doubtful there is another NIV in the future, at least for a long time. Sounds like there's more to the story, but it doesn't matter.

It's not so rare nowadays. When my husband came through JFK as his POE in October last year, it took over 2 hours of getting through immigration because he said they had more than 20 people in there that they were going through all of their phones. The phones had to password unlocked and they read through messages on all of social websites including text messages AND looked through photos as well. Guess it's going to be the "norm" for a while.

I realize it is more common now than in years past, but it's still quite rare. A 2h wait in JFK is not that unusual by any means (and has been that way for a while), and they are not regularly going through phones of most people.

Usually they go through phones in secondary inspection.
