I (the petitioner) misplaced my original birth certificate and am trying to find it. I do have a copy of the birth certificate. Would a copy be enough for the adjustment of status interview?

Is it a certified copy ordered from the issuing authority (state for most people born in the US)? If so, that's good enough.

Otherwise, no.

Would my US passport and drivers license be sufficient along with the photo copy that shows the raised seal?
