I just got a notification that I-129f has been approved.

Is this NOA2?

If yes, I have a few questions:

Our embassy will be in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

1. Is it three weeks after NOA 2 I was supposed to call and get case number? How long will it take if I email them instead?

2. What is case number for? I am still confused on this part.

3. when my fiancé gets packet 3, how do I know that they are sending it to the correct address? Is there a website I can go to to double check the address is correct?

thank you for your time

1. Longer if you email . Call as per VJ  guides . They are not easy to reach by phone either .

2. You need the case nb so you can check the status of your application on CEAC website once it reaches your embassy .

3. Your fiance' s address is in the I 129f packet . You didn't t take a look at it ? Filled it your self?  You can provide an email address when you call for the case # .  Petitioners here on VJ reported  receiving  packet 3 by email  from the embassy .

Yes it is NOA 2 . Yes 3 weeks sounds about right .

In regards to #3, once my packet got sent to the US Consulate in HCM by the NVC, I called the customer service # at the US Consulate and verified the email address and address they had on file for my then fiance.
