Calling NVC, Not taking calls.

We were approved in January and I have been trying to call the NVC for days and always receive the same message that they are not taking phone calls at this time.  I have called when they first open, be fore closing and throughout the day.  Is there any other way to get the case number and IIN?  Like through the email?

I would email them and continue calling.

You have to keep calling and calling and calling without giving up. Eventually you’ll hear a different automated message than the one you’ve been hearing. You have to listen carefully.

 

 I think i dialed and hung up 50+ times in a session just to get put on a 45 minute hold so I could talk to them.

Keep calling , Start early they will eventually pick-up. I did get that same message last week and was able to speak with them. Do not give up.

Friday afternoons I would usually get put in the queue by my second or third attempt, then would need to wait 30-60 minutes before a rep finally took my call.

 

Still much easier than trying to get a hold of a tier 2 USCIS rep.

Shortly after posting this I actually was bale to get through and waited 55 minutes to talk to someone BUT they did confirm the date received.  Baby steps, lol

I usually have to dial at least 50 times in order to get into the wait line and at least 90 minutes waits to talk to someone.

have you gotten your Case# from them? I was approved January 06,2020 but I have not received the welcome letter
