Opps hour wrong, you are correct.

East  coast is 2 hours different.

Okay, I am not going insane about time zones (other stuff maybe).

I sent a message earlier to a friend who I think would be the repository of all information about boozy brunches in our UK crew (my US crew is far more tame, think wine tasting in Paso Robles). I think she would have got it around 11:30 her time. I await an update! I have seen some very bad and boozy behavior at a wedding with an open bar within the last six months, so I have reason to believe that bottomless prosecco might have happened at some point.

Hopkins is not my favourite person but I could not be bothered to find another source.

That's contrary to what the DM body language "expert" (whatever) had to say -- apparently their body language is that they're very much in love, and mirror each other.

I watched it again and looked at it to compare to how Al and Jules have both treated me and I them. The hand on the back is, I love you. I want to be close to you. And it is also, hey sweetie, I want to meet this person. His movement is, yes, deferential, because he wants his wife to be first. He puts her first because he can make something happen for her, and because making that something happen for her gives him pleasure. It is, I believe, also proper etiquette for a man to do exactly what he did -- allow his wife to be first in introducing herself to a woman. A woman may extend a hand to a man or a woman first, but a man should not be first in extending a hand to a woman. The first person they greeted was a woman.

I would not trust Katie Hopkins or any of those people in her comments to know how to behave at a formal function. When we were together at events, Voldy always pointed out who we should meet, and we would walk up together. They would know who he was, and he would let me introduce myself first. He might say first, "This is Layla," and I'd shake hands before he would (of course no handshaking now, apparently we are supposed to elbow bump?). It was a nice touch, letting me be the center of attention, whether it was with a man or a woman. It showed he was proud of me. A little old-fashioned, but it was kind.

Alex thinks it's all a load of old tosh, but he does do some things still reflexively, like stand up when a woman gets up from the table or comes back to it, helping me into my coat, etc. But when I say I don't need help, he respects it (usually -- he had to fight my mom over who was going to drag a suitcase from the elevator to my new apartment door when we were moving in).

Katie Hopkins may think it's good to be a snob, but honestly, if I can be snobby about it, she doesn't exactly have the credentials that should support such snobbishness.

I have a habit of doing that, did it entering the Adult Drink establishment today, holding the door open for people I do not know. Always wonder of one day it will get me into trouble.

I really do not know about them, every thing suggests to me it will end tears, hope I am wrong.

It's just good manners for a person of any sex and/or gender persuasion to hold a door open for anyone. I hold doors open for everyone.

I think they're going to be better once they are out of the royal whirl. But I also think they would do even better just to unplug completely for a year and be a family. No charity, no appearances, just be together. Maybe do some writing and travelling. Downsize.

An MSNBC Guest Called Meghan Markle "Five Clicks Up From Trailer Trash" On Air

I thought that was decidedly off, I do agree that her behavior with regards to the Queen is suspect.

How ridiculous about the knife. That "correspondent" is hardly one to speak -- it's pretty vulgar to talk about anyone that way in public. It's so weird how all of these people are fixated on how trashy Meghan is supposed to be without realizing the way they can't stop dragging her is actually trashy as well.

I looked and I saw no difference?

Sorry looks the same.

Almost the same, but not quite. I mean, it's literally like three or four inches lopped off the bottom of it, that's it. When I got a haircut the other week, I had the stylist cut that much off but there were no breathless reports of how modern I look now, in the DM or even at home.

I see plenty of excited and worried articles about Megxit on the front page of the UK edition.

Well my turn tomorrow and I do not expect to make the DM, due to sunburn issues I tend to ask her to leave a bit more on at this time of year, still associate sunburn with it being hot.

They really should have done before and  after photos.

Hope the cut goes well -- yes, sunburn is very much a year round worry. As I have made clear on several occasions, sunblock is your friend. There's a reason why at almost 35 I don't look nearly as old as Kate, and it isn't just because I haven't had kids and I don't do the dark liner on the lower rim of the eye.

Yes, some before and afters would have been useful. This is the article I am reading right now. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8089389/RICHARD-KAY-looks-Harrys-life-long-passion-armed-forces-come-sudden-end.html

I really am no longer bothered, now straggly so just needs to be neater, I try and remember to use a cap or hat if it is going to be sunny, usually is.
