It comes from them wanting to go their own way and move out but still want the UK to pick up a not insubstantial bill. If they want to live in Canada should it not be something for the Canadians?

But the question then is why should the Canadians be forced to pick up the bill for people who aren't even citizens? I mean, imagine that Meghan says she wants to live in LA to be near her family and friends. Should the US shoulder the burden? Should the City of LA? I feel like the Royals need to pay for the lion's share of this -- it's their family. I don't think there's really any great resolution to a problem like this.

Begs the question if they are living there or visiting. If say they want to hang out in your area, live there do they need to employ local security?

I almost wonder if they decide it's not worth it and move back to the UK, just not living as senior Royals any longer.

I did not read that word as digging. It was another word that ends in "-gging" and begins with "sha-" and I apologize for my filthy mind. :lol:
