Yeah, all this "we just want to be left alone..." is really interesting considering how much press they are trying to garner for themselves.  Apparently, Meghan and by extension Harry, would rather live like Kardashians, rather than as UK royals.

So we watched about 45 minutes of it, had an interesting discussion about our different childhood experiences with race in our respective countries, shrugged, and then moved onto movie night.

 

Our brief takeaway was Charles and William were being implicated in not good behavior without actually straight out saying it. The Queen comes out pretty unscathed. There was some fluff about the George V declaration, and I can see why they were annoyed by it in the context of what was going on, however what was written is pretty legally plain. Archie is not entitled to be a prince until Charles is King. If there is one thing the Queen and her legal advisors are sticklers for, it's tradition - which has gotten them in trouble on many occasions. However, it would seem that it was Charles who was pushing the decisions for Archie to not be prince at all against the declaration, so I think we do indeed know who probably was causing the problems. Charles has not the temperament to be king. May the Queen keep hanging on and rubbing that in his face.

You seem to be assuming it is all true,  there are factual errors and contradictions, I assume scripted.

Completely agree.  Full disclosure, I did not watch a single second of Meghan’s victimhood plea (only hearing snippets on the radio news), but one has to remember, she is an actress although it is a matter of opinion as to how good she is at that.  If there is in fact a racist in the royal family, name names.

Like I said, I have heard news reports that also included some aspects of the interview.  She came off very much as someone pleading for victimhood, not to mention more notice and hence more money.

I tend to agree with Piers Morgan.  Of course I do not know Meghan Markle, but she does have a track record of breaking up families.

A very sad article written by the ''political editor" that apparently ties his feelings of "faux patriotism" to not watching a TV interview or being interested in a subject, or at the very least, being obnoxious to his friends. He says he doesn't care about it of course, but naturally he writes a big article opinion piece about it. Says more about the author than anything else.

 

And this is why I don't take anything from the federalist seriously anymore..
