Don't file taxes what proof d I need (split)

Hey do we have to attach any proofs with this letter or it could be just a verbal letter explaining why I didn’t file my taxes?

What proof do you have that you were unemployed? Just a 2-sentence signed statement will be sufficient.

Use what others have said on why you have not filed taxes for your "tax transcript", but also do submit a signed and dated letter saying that you are not employed and upload that under "proof of current employment", not for tax reasons but because they still require it. We did not submit a letter of unemployment under proof of current employment and had to wait an additional 9 weeks to be reviewed again because of it

In the tax section of your I-864, simply hand write the words.  No income.  Never employed.  Works every time it's tried.  No separate letter is needed.

Nice idea but just hand writing (in this case) No income.  Never employed. in the tax section of the affidavit of support, then signing the affidavit is fully sufficient.  The affidavit IS signed under penalty of perjury.
