Hi everyone, i went to travel clinic for vaccinations. They just gave me MMR. And put it on the card. For tetnus i had a booster last year, do i need it again?  The doctor's receptionist printed  a page saying that i got an ADACEL last year. It isnt signed. Can someone guide me on this?

And for chickenpox i had them when i was a kid.

Somebody who has been through medical exam can guide me and tell me that this all works for medical exam immunizations? I have scheduled an appointment with Dr Ian Zatman.

You can email their office with your question and they will respond.

Thx for sharing this. I guess one should do it in advance.

Any idea which vaccines are recommended?

You can follow this link to see what vaccines are required for my age group. If you are not in this age group, you can navigate the website.

Hi everyone!

I realize this topic has been dormant for some time but hoping someone with experience might see it. With the ridiculously short notices currently being given for interviews (my husband was just given 12 days) it’s impossible his medical will be finalized in time for his interview. I’ve read that if you are sent to administrative processing pending medical a day or two delay in results can cause months of delay in issuing. Has anyone had this happen and still had a timely turn around?

Our Medical was done on jan 21st (Thursday) and interview was on 27th. Embassy had received medical by interview time. Also take some cash. Their credit card machine was not working at the radiology.

Thank you, that is encouraging however the medical in Montreal told me there was zero chance it would be done in time. Apparently the doctor only works Tuesday/Wed and his interview is Monday so it will not be signed off on.

I had my medical on March 5 and it was sent on March 9. Basically Thursday to Tuesday.  My interview isn't until March 26 but the consulate should have received my medical electronically today anyway. So it is possible to get a timely turnaround and im going to be very upset if the consulate tells me they haven't received it yet at my interview. I feel like the consulate has been dropping the ball on processing the incoming medicals, not the doctors.

I went to Dr Cheema in BC.

They requested my passport (the website said photo ID, but I brought my passport anyway), my interview appointment letter from the NVC (e-mail from NVC) and my vaccination record. I gave them my vaccination records, but in the end, they only wanted this one (from Dr. Mascarenhas' website, which I had signed by my family physician last month) and didn't even look at my provincial records. They didn't care whether I had one or two MMR shots, they just took a photocopy of my most recent vaccination shots based on Dr. Mascarenhas' form. They did not request for any passport photos. It was explained to me that the Montreal consulate is moving towards a digital platform and uses a platform called "e-medical" and so they took a picture of me in the office and uploaded it onto their server. (Note: on their website, it says that this is only for people who are applying for CR1/IR1 visas. You may need to bring your passport photos if you are applying for other visas (ie K1 visa, etc)). Following this, I paid in cash (they accepted debit as well) and sat back down to wait for my appointment. Screening the room, there were two other patients before me waiting for their visa medicals.

Hello ADW & JOP, Just want to confirm that there is no need for the 5 passport photos?? I am getting a cr1 visa.
