Hi there!

My partner came on a K1 visa on 12/27/19. We got married on 1/31/20. I'm now filing all the AOS forms, including the I-765. I'm confused by which eligibility category is correct, please. (Question 27, Part 2) I appreciate any help. Thank you

I'm looking into the same...can I ask why C09?

https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/information-employers-employees/employer-information/employment-authorization  says Fiancé(e) (K-1 or K-2 nonimmigrant) belongs into A6.

C9 is "Pending adjustment of status under Section 245", which I have no idea what it means.

Can you please elaborate?

"Life is a journey." At this moment, it's taking me to the USA to the woman I love.

A6 would be for an EAD based on the K-1 (which is legal to apply for but pointless, as it would expire at the end of the 90 days, and EADs take more than 90 days to process now).

Thank you.

So what is the Section 245 referring to?

"Life is a journey." At this moment, it's taking me to the USA to the woman I love.
