Hello has anyone been having trouble the past few days with uploading a picture during the last step of the ds-160 application process? My fiancée keeps getting a response that says “error: there was a missing or invalid parameter in the request” she has changed computers, tried different web browsers and different pictures and nothing is working.

I think i have read it somewhere that if all fails, she just have to make sure to bring her photos to the embassy during interview.

Maybe you can email the jakarta embassy to make sure.

If you can't upload a picture then take them with you to the interview and the CO will upload them for you. It's not uncommon for some applicants to have this situation. No need to bother the embassy with what to do, this is pretty much the protocol across the board for all embassies.
