Hello all,

My fiance was looking for interview documents in P4 and it mentions the petitioner's birth certificate. As the petitioner, will my a copy of my passport suffice for proof of citizenship? I do not have my birth certificate and I used a copy of my passport for the I-129F. I know I could get a new copy, but it would take a few weeks to arrive. Should I order one and wait until it arrives to schedule or can we proceed with the interview scheduling?

The P4 asks for a "copy of US petitioner's status in the USA". This can be proven with either the birth certificate or the passport, as both indicate citizenship.

FYI, I had copies of both and wasn't asked for either one, nor for proof of domicile.
