HELP!!!

Not sure if I am paranoid because of the snail pace process, or I truly missed to follow correct procedures.

I submitted the Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and all other civil documents via snail mail to the NVC in Portsmouth, NH. I confirmed via FedEx documents were received last November 25, 2019. But when I check CEAC website, it still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents".

Was I supposed to scan and send these electronically?? I don't recall ever seeing that option in the CEAC application, and now I am freaking out because this request was send in April 2019, I feel  like my visa clock is ticking away...

I am sharing screenshots of everything I can see now...clearly no option to scan and submit documents.

I am a US citizen, petitioning my son from the Philippines. Any response is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mary

If you received an email from NVC regarding mailing of those docs, what you did was right but since you sent them after lots of month, NVC could still be reviewing those. The best is to call them up and ask if they have received it at least.

Calling NVC has proven difficult, the hotline will not take my call due to high volumes. I have also attempted the online query, no response after a week.

Any advice regarding best time to call?

I just want confirmation that I submitted the correct documents using the correct method... 😭

The office opens 6am so I suggest you start calling like 5:55am. That's what i did and got through like a hour later. Thats just how it is calling the NVC, long periods of wait at a time. Just call them and put phone on speaker while doing other stuff🤷‍♀️
