I think realistically Sanders was not expecting to do that well in South Carolina, but the interesting poll shift, very dramatic, toward Biden, is rattling many Sanders supporters. We know how susceptible the left (and anyone who watches the MSM) are to the media, never mind the independents and moderates who might be choosing Sanders just because Joe and Mike embody corruption like no other, and it seems that entire week from Nevada to South Carolina is enough time for the media to facilitate rapid re-shaping of opinions.

As unrealistic and outlandish (read: scary) as some of Sanders' promises and views are, part of me also wants to see the media, establishment.. hell, that swamp, lose.

Wouldn't it be more important to pick the strongest Republican candidates to oppose/defeat the Democrats in the general election?

I figure a Bernie nomination is going to cause extreme damage to all the down ballot Democrats anyway........so I think a vote for Bernie in the primary is a vote for all the Republicans in the general election.
