My wife is filling for me and due to the fact that we don't know much about this journey earlier on we hire an immigration attorney.. Mind you we wouldn't have hired immigration attorney if I had known what I know today on visa journey about visa.... I'm from one of the affected countries from the New immigration ban policy but up till today our immigration attorney never mentioned it to us or even address it even wheny wife made mention of it to him in mail.. Neither will he pick call. I took it upon myself to send him email and ask him why he never even say anything to us about the ban nor even reply my wife email about ban.. His replied was that if we have issues with the ban then we should take it up with Trump not him.. Like what the (removed) this just conformed what my wife has been saying about this immigration attorney as a racist

To be fair, the travel ban expansion for Nigeria was announced long after your case was filed.  At this point, there is not anything your attorney can do.  Even a waiver cannot be filed until after the interview.  Hopefully, the ban will be lifted soon.  I'm sure the attorney is being bombarded with questions from clients..

Sounds like she needs a new Lawyer.

Yes you are right.. And we know there is nothing he can do about it but I don't think he should keep mute without saying nothing even when my wife made mention of the ban to him. As our immigration attorney we expect him to say something to us about the ban but his reply to says a lot about him

The ban hasn't even started yet.  I'm not sure you expect him to say at this point.  But after your interview, you might want his help to construct a waiver....if you are otherwise admissible.

Are you saying he doesn't need to say anything to us?

I'm saying the ban hasn't started yet...so there is very little information as of today.   Within a week, we all will see exactly how the consulate will handle the situation.  There is always a chance the issue will be resolved.....hopefully.  Could he have communicated better?  Absolutely.

Hopefully, you would find some peace in your mind..

We also hired the lawyer, but they made so many errors submitting documents and actually made us 2-3 months of case delays.

The sad thing is our case is under issue again, but the lawyer's office is not helpful.

It's been a long time we lost the trust within our lawyer, so if possible better to find someone who really cares about your case.

I cannot simply recommend go through this journey by yourselves considering travel ban...

Anyway, Good luck!

I'm not sure what you actually need help with here.  If you are unhappy with the service of the immigration lawyer you've hired, why keep using him?
