Hi guys,

I received my blue receipt on the 25th of May,but no NOA as yet.

I moved from the other place on the same day as I got my blue receipt and have been checking both the PO's regularly , but no sign of NOA. I did my official online change of address just a few days ago, thinking that might hamper my getting NOA in time.

My deadline for producing the green-card or extension at my work place is very near now.I made an infopass apointment already.

Did anybody get their NOA after their blue receipt around the same time as me?

Thanks for your feedback.

Sgillgutti,

We filed on the same day and I got my NOA (Letter with one year extension) today. You got your blue receipt at least 1 week before me. I am thinking you should call the customer service also to let them know you changed address. I read somewhere here that apart from submitting the Change of Address from (whether on-line or via mail) you still need to call them especially if you have a pending case. I would call and at least find out if they have sent the NOA, if it is me in your position.

cheers,

aussie girl

On June 1, 2007, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. Please note what it says about if you move while the case is pending.

It also has a contact number as follows:

I am not sure if this is the customer number to contact though.

Hi aussie girl,

Congratulations on getting the NOA and Biometrics appointment letters!

Thank you so much for the detailed reply.

That was very helpful. As per your suggestion, I called the USCIS at (800) 375 – 5283.The lady on the phone was pretty helpful.

She said she would do a service request to let VSC know I haven't received my NOA1 or biometrics. She gave me a service request confirmation and then told me to make an Infopass appointment to get the I-551 stamp on my passport.

When I told her, I moved and changed the address online, she said that was fine and that would not cause any delay as all the mail is being forwarded to my new address. She also took my new address and phone number.

I have the infopass already scheduled.

Hope they stamp my passport. If they don't I am serious trouble with my job :(

Thanks for all your help.

We filed my application to lift conditions on May 14th, and received the blue receipt around the 25th of May, but have not yet received the NOA. I'm hoping it comes this week, as I'm supposed to travel in the week after my Green Card expires. Good luck coping with the wait!

14-May-2007 Filed I-751 at Vermont Service Center.

26-May-2007 Received blue receipt notice for $275 payment

23-Jun-2007 Received I-797 to extend green card for 1 year.

09-Jul-2007 Received appointment notice for fingerprints - however appointment date was July 2nd, one week earlier!!

13-Jul-2007 Went into New York ASC with appointment notice showing July 2 date, and was fingerprinted. No questions asked.

I just received my extension letter on the weekend, after filing on May 14th. It was four weeks before I got the extension letter after getting the blue receipt. Now I'm just waiting for the biometrics appointment.

Good luck - there's light at the end of the tunnel.
