Remember, lucho, we're not supposed to really care about the extra costs, even though some of them are nothing more than unnecessary steps in government inefficiency. The logic would be that we're willing to split with our hard-earned cash to get our ladies with us in an already-delayed fashion.

Lucho, We actually didn't have anything left either. We knew we just had to fill out the vaccination supplement, and not get the whole physical, but we didn't even have the original vaccination sheet. I was a bit stressed at first. I printed out the list of civil surgeons that are in NYC (they're are like 500) and the first 20 or so told me that they needed to do their own "physical" regardless of what the government said. As Tony mentions....they're all crooks feeding off the naivety of immigrants and the people that love them. Finally, I found a super nice guy that works downtown and said that he would charge $35 to cover the processing cost of putting us in the system, but that he would otherwise fill out the supplement chart for no cost. We had Silvia's brother FAX us her immunization history, and we just brought that history to the doctor's office. He then copied off this history onto the new supplement sheet. Easy. So the answer is, as long as you have proof of vaccinations, they can fill out the sheet. The operative word is "Can" because most will try to rob you.

So the answer to your other question is not that you need to copy the sheet and that it's something designed to generate cost (even though it is) it's that you need a US civil surgeon based in the US to fill out the form, and that most will accept as proof a foreign civil surgeon's original form, because it's good enough for a US consulate abroad. Way to go, OjosAzules. Thanks for the info. I'll be looking into Chicago's crooks, err, I mean Civil Surgeons... but no assumptions to be made prematurely... [yeah, right].

I forgot to mention about the civil surgeon locater LOL! As a alternative, I did see on VJ where someone mentioned a civil surgeon that was accepting faxes from all over the country and was charging very little...around $30 if I remember correctly. I would have to do a search to find it again.

Ok, I tried to read through some of your experiences on this quesiton, but I didnt get a clear answer

For K3 Visas (already married), does the SO have to have another full medical or is the medical taken in Colombia valid for AOS?

Unless someone knows something different that what I've read, you will need another exam. It hardly qualifies as a "full medical" - at least the ones Lorena and the boys had was pretty minimal for the money.
