If you received an RFE then the good news is that they are actually working on your file and once they get the stuff they were asking for, they will continue working on it. So now you're sure it's not collecting dust on someone's desk.

True how true...do they usually send any RFE's at once? Since I already responded and they received my response I would like to think things can flow smoothly to her GC approval from this point.

It might, sub. I don't know of any stats as to the processing speed post-RFE... but I think I remember hearing that most cases get handled a tad faster once they have the information they requested. You're almost there.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

They already resumed the case today and had actually touched it after I had received the RFE(probably to shelve it) Do they usually send all RFE's at one time or is it possible to receive another?

Anything's possible man!

But a second RFE... is highly unlikely if you sent them the information they requested. Even if it is retarded and already in the file...

Keep the faith man. Just remember this is all formalities to get documents in order.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yes it is a nice thing! I can't wait until she gets the GC in her hand and I can sigh and not worry about USCIS for awhile. I will say it hasn't been so bad but it helps to have the supprt!

Sweet man! Feels really good!

I still remember when I saw the 129f approval email on my honey's BDay while I was down there.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

hi everyone,

Margarita and Daniela are going back to Colombia permanently. We've been having problems for quite a while, and Margarita doesn't want to try to work things out with me. I'm devestated, but hopefully this will be for the best. When they travel back to Colombia, do they need anything besides their Colombian passports? I assume they do not need their green cards because they do not plan to return to the US.

thanks

john
