The lady I spoke to was really sweet but no new info came out. All I can say is that we don't have an approval notice (or an interview notice for that matter) before June 14 I'll be pushing the 180 day transfer process. Other than that it will be calling a couple of family members that work at USCIS to see if they can ask CSC to get the file off of the desk its sitting on.

Thanks Maviwaro, I'm just going to wait a few more days, if nothing, for sure I'll try that.

For a minute there I though you had spoken to the same lady!! Now I see... I wasn't able to call last week but this week I will for sure. Hope to have more info then. FYI- not sure if I stated it before, but my call generated a "touch" on our AOS application according to CRIS. I was hoping this means it gets looked at quicker but I really doubt it.

WELL... something DID happen.

Today I got a CRIS email stating "Card Production Ordered"...

BEFORE the approval notice was sent!

I guess it pays to be super nice with whomever you talk to at the customer service hotline...

Had our AOS interview today....Interview lasted about 10 minutes...and we were approved...Card should be here within 30 days!!! :)

AOS -K2 Based for 8 year old daughter...wife already has green card in hand and daughter was brought over via join to follow - K1.

11/04/08 - I485 sent

11/10/08 - NOA rcd

11/26/08 - Biometrics

March 14, 2006.....We meet, spend the next 2 weeks togeather

May 2006............ I go to see Paola for 5 days and propose marriage

Jan. 24th, 2007....I-129F sent to CSC

Feb. 2nd, 2007.....CSC receives NOA1

June 6, 2007........I-129F Approved

June 6, 2007........Cleared NVC and sent to Bogota

June 12, 2007......I receive packet 3 from our lawyer

June 14, 2007..... I send Packet 3 to Paola via FEDEX (2 day delivery)

June 25, 2007......Paola receives Packet 3 (9 days late)

July 3, 2007.........Packet 3 Fedex to Embassy in Bogota

July 5, 2007.........Packet 3 arrives at the embassy in Bogota

July 19, 2007.......Called NVC, interveiw scheduled for Aug. 17, 2007

July 31, 2007.......Paola goes to US Embassy in Bogota and gets Pkt 4 in person

Aug. 13, 2007.....Lab exam

Aug. 15, 2007.....Medical exam

Aug. 17, 2007.....INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Failed cuz of a missing doc. :(

Sept. 27, 2007....Second interview date!! APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oct. 7, 2007........Paola is here in the US!!

Oct. 23, 2007......MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oct. 30, 2007......Mailed AOS docs

Nov. 27, 2007.....Recieved "Notice of Receipt" of AOS docs

Dec. 20, 2007.....Biometrics appointment

Feb. 7, 2008.......Recieve AP and permit to work

Feb. 19, 2008.....Recieve SS card

Hola Ana,

When going through the prompts, dial the numbers as if you have an RFE... if I remember the number correctly it was #2 instead of #4... Just remember... patience and have a sweet customer service voice... make the person on the line feel "special."

We have a little good news to spread...EAD received, AP received and our case was touched on 05/15 so hopefully we will hear something soon.

Awesome Scott... it looks like stuff is happening faster now... TODAY, not one week after receiving the CRIS email about the Card production we actually RECEIVED the darn GC... man this has been an interesting week!
