by the way, Diana, the Austin doctor will transfer the vaccinations over the phone and fax them back to you!!! for $10! So I guess the long drive isn't necessary.

I used the same doctor in Austin. But when I filed for AOS I did not send the I693A since I figured so many folks got approved without it. I expected an RFE but never got one. So I still have the form with me today.

I just got notification today of EAD card production ordered and AP approval.

Maviwaro - Unfortunately Monica is not here with me. Sunny skies, French and Creole culture I'm actually in Aruba right now then off to SFO next week.

But if you're like me, I get island fever real quick. I went around the ENTIRE island of Guadeloupe in under 4 hours.

This is actually the longest trip that we're apart. It'll be one full week before I go home.

We sent the AOS package today, I just hope everything turns out o.k, we checked the whole package like three times before sending it.

I'm praying we won't get a RFE.

Congrats Corey! We also got a bit of good news today. Lorena's SS card arrived in the mail. Now we can at least file taxes and such. Still no word from the USCIS Ombudsman or my Senator, but we'll take any good news these days.

I know you are happy to be able to file your taxes and get what is due! We received the Green Cards for my wife and son on 2/1. We are going to apply for the Social Security numbers tomorrow. Maybe we will get ours in time to file without using the W-7 form....am hoping we can get the SS in 4 to 6 weeks and beat the 4/15 deadline.

Hello Parkpapa,

I had a quick question for you. Since Lorena's boys arrived here with K2 visas, did you have to submit I-485's for each one of them? So one for Lorena and two more for her sons? How about I-864's? One for each as well? I also read here that the fee would be less... ??

Finally, EAD Card and AP document arrived today in the mail! EAD expires April of 2009. Still no touches on the AOS though.

We decided to wait to get my wife's social Security # after we received her Green card. We went to the SS office today and it was really easy. I am going back next week to be given her SS # and will will have the card in 10-14 days. I want the # next week to be able to file my taxes. At the office just needed the green card, my wife's passport, and our marriage certificate.

After we get the number, going to the DMV......scary because my wife isn't the best driver! I have to give her alot of lessons and will be saying a ton of Hail Marys!
