It's 3 years from the date on her green card( married to USC) My wife just received hers on 2/5/2020, we will ROC 90 days before 2 years, then apply for the N400 when 90 days before her 3 years as a LPR approches. They have calculators to determine when you can file. Don't jump the gun like some people do, give yourself a few days leeway.

And congratulations, I know receiving the green card was such a wonderful thing. Then off to the DMV to get a full term ID card, and we went to the social security office to get a new card without the work permit wording on it.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

I know it sucks because all the time you wait for the AOS interview is wasted and doesn't count towards citizenship. Took us almost 13 months to get our interview. Guidelines below....

  1. Hold a green card for three years;
  2. Be married to and living with your US citizen spouse for three years;
  3. Live within the state that you're applying in for three months; and.
  4. Be able to meet all other requirements for US citizenship.

Have to have green card for 3 years in your hands.
