Not sure of the tax process in the US.. How long will it take for my husband to file as married and get proof of that?

If he files electronically, the transcripts are usually available 2-3 weeks after IRS accepts your return. You file electronically and the return status will say " The IRS has accepted your return" . 2-3 weeks later you can print or request transcripts mailed to you.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Wow, that's fast. Good to know. I'll be filing my return soon ( Charles Schwab is a little slow with tax documents) and I was going to time it.

I was actually shocked that the 2019 return transcript was there so quickly.......now, I'm just waiting until my payment shows up on my account transcript.....

I just checked my IRS account transcript......They have now posted my tax payment....so my account is balanced......Next year, I expect a small refund.....very small (I don't like to give the government an interest free loan).......
