Hello everyone!

I am in the process of getting my medical examination done prior to my interview for a K1 fiance visa.

I was wondering how close to 2 inches in length and width the photos are required to be for both this and the embassy interview. I just got photos taken and printed/cut and they are all around 50.5mm (50.8mm would be 2 inches).

Should I expect the 0.3mm to be ignored is it would be a sizing error of 0.6%, or could this cause me problems? I'd really appreciate any input!

That's pretty close to government standards but if you were exactly using the correct measurements you wouldn't face additional scrutiny. You could scan your photo in and then use one of these links to create the size that is required.

Should be fine, it's within the margin of error, mine were actually 50mm square and the took those.

Thank you for sharing, what a relief to hear! All the businesses that print them with borders and cut them out around here are manually trimming them by hand, and they aren't turning out to be 50.8-51mm. I had to get it done at 3 different places just to get the size as close as 50.5mm.

Yep, that's how mine went as well. They did not measure them, but they did turn someone away that had European style.
