kind of presumptuous to think that someone who kills another human being would go to heaven though. isn't that one of the 10 commandments?!? or is it forgiven for the religious that kill during wartime?

it's too bad that many good men were put in that position when they didn't have to be.

The commandment says, "You shall not murder," not "You shall not kill." There are two different words for killing in Hebrew, "kill" and "murder." All murder is killing, but not all killing is murder. You can claim that all killing is murder if you want, but you can't support that from the Bible.

I'm an ex military wife. I know the sacrifices that these men and women that serve in the US military make. Be there and then see how you feel. Two total ends of the spectrum are always going to give us differing opinions.
