Balikbayan Box

I'm here in the US for 6 months now but I still dont have any idea for the best boxes and courier to use here in my area. I haven't meet filipino since around here. Bdw I'm here in Asheboro, North Carolina. Hoping someone close enough to my location can recommend one. Thanks in advance.

My wife just shipped two big boxes to Pinas last week in fact. We live in Sanford so not to far. You can use LBC and UMAC, and they will pick it up.

I have used both LBC and UMAC ... good service from both.

How far are you from LBC and UMAC? I'm afraid they dont get here in Asheboro that far for pick up.

As for using LBC we drop the BB box off at the Asian store near us.

Most of the branches use couriers to pick up packages in other parts of their region.  Here in Florida, they'll deliver a Balikbayan Box to your home and then pick it up the following week when they're running the route again.

I really liked UMAC and really like that they picked up at our house.   LBC is all there is around here, and it's only through the Asian store in Knoxville

Yeah like I said it's either UMAC out of Fayetteville or LBC out of Raleigh. I haven't seen that person in High Point but I would call them first. I know they had a guy at the Filipino store in Greensboro who was the shipping rep for somebody but unfortunately they shut down.

    I have a fiance in The Philippines and am trying to get her here to the US in the East TN area on a K1  visa. Can you share with me the process? Is it possible to get her here without my having to travel there first? Also I am trying to ship a box of items by sea, any advice? Thanks for your help!
