Why upload a partial picture...I would upload a scanned copy of the entire document with all schedules and supporting documents.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

What do you mean "IRS is taking so long."? You can download and copy transcripts online. Your 1040 copies may not be accepted - or maybe they will be. Why take the chance? Use a CPA and skip the hassles of tax records.

Can we upload this instead of IRS transcripts , we are at NVC stage , bcz IRS taking so long ! What should we do ! Thanks

NVC prefers tax transcripts.    2019 tax return is not required until after 15 April 2020

NVC strongly recommends the submission of tax transcripts since they typically provide the information necessary for an evaluation of completeness of the Affidavit of Support and result in more efficient processing.  Sponsors may submit copies of tax returns but must comply with the file size limits for electronic uploads to CEAC and could be delayed by requests for additional documentation.

You can go to IRS office in your city to get transcript if online or mailing has issue. I am not sure whether 2019 transcript is ready from IRS.

Good points, and if you file electronically your transcripts are usually available 2-3 weeks after the IRS has accepted your return.

Yes this. There is a number that can be called for IRS and request Tax Transcript in the mail which usually don't seem to take any longer than 2 months. I did this but have to make separate repeated request on the same call mentioning each one that need different year. It's free so it wasn't so bad.

My husband sent his 1040 tax return from 2018 tax year. He sent all the applicable pages i.e. schedules that had 1040 under it as well. For him it was a total of 5 pages. He did not attach the other tax returns from 2016 and 2017. To fill out the i-864 form regarding previous income for 2017 and 2016 he just looked at the income made that year from his 1040. Did you not file your 2017 or did you lose it? I just wanted to let you know they do accept the 1040 forms because the NVC approved ours application. The same thing happened to my husband the IRS website wouldn't let him get his tax transcripts either. We are planning on bringing his 2016, 2017 tax returns as well as his 2018s and this years to show them at the consulate just in case they ask for it.

Thanks , we thinking to go ahead with 1040 Form with schedules pages for each year if we don’t get Transcripts soon
