Timeline

We just came back to the US last week and I used my AP, there was so issue at all. We came back from Nigeria one of the countries on the new ban list. Enjoy your trip.

The only thing noteworthy is that you WILL get pulled into secondary inspection to check the status of your application.  You wouldn't sail through like you normally might when you don't have to go through secondary inspection.

I travelled with an Emergency AP in December. It was a scary experience but I made it back to the USA. They asked me whole bunch of questions and made me sit in a separate area for maybe 10-15 min while they were checking my paperwork. Just make sure you give them the AP together with your passport ( I didn’t, I gave them my passport first then the AP and the officer made a point that : “Next time have them together”) LOL
