Are you saying it´s best if they ommit the fact they met through online dating?

I'm saying it's best to include everything plus the kitchen sink, leaving no stone unturned. Anything put into the initial application cannot be used later as grounds for the consulate to recommend denial. If the USCIS approves the application with the information included, the consulate no longer has the discretion to use it as any part of a reason to send the application back to the USCIS recommending denial.
