Driver license on K1 visa in Oregon (and driving after I-94 expires)

My SAVE verification was competed today, case check on https://save.uscis.gov/casecheck/ page showed "Case Returned to Agency".

 

I went to Beaverton, Oregon DMV again (luckily it's still not shut down due to coronavirus, rumors are it will, starting from next week, from March 23, 2020). This time renewal was successful.

 

The DMV officer checked my SAVE verification status completion and took the following documents from me:

 

- Filled out DMV driver license application form 735-173 (1-20) “APPLICATION FOR DRIVING PRIVILEGES OR ID CARD” (https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/Forms/DMV/173fill.pdf). I checked "RENEWAL" on it.

- SAVE verification request confirmation paper with case number - given to me during my last visit to DMV on March 13, 2020

- Expired driver's license card (the one that expired together with my K1 I-94 record)

- 90-day driver's license extension (the little yellow paper, see above posts)

- I-766 form aka EAD card (Employment Authorization) that I just received from the USCIS in mail

 

I paid $10 for the driver's license renewal, went to the photo corner, had my photo taken, got my interim driver's license printed out immediately (valid until April 18, 2020), and was told that my new driver's license card will come in mail soon.

 

My new driver's license after EAD should be valid until the EAD card expiry date - February 7, 2021.

 

Next chapter will be renewing driver's license after I get the Green Card, or maybe earlier, when Oregon starts issuing Real IDs in June 2020 for traveling by plane, as discussed in above posts.
