Hi Kjan,

my heart goes out to you, and it sure sucks to feel really down! i'm not sure if you are looking for suggestions, but perhaps you can look into local counseling centers or liscensed clinical social worker in your area. a lot of places offer a sliding scale, so you do not need to pay the full price... they can determine if you need further support (like medication) etc. but more than anything, the way you are feeling is totally understandable. I have been there, and I know that with support, you will make it thru'!

take care! and all the best to you and yours!

Kjan I am waiting right along with you. It gets to be a bit much and very frustrating and even overwhelming. All, I can do is take it a day at a time and try not to look ahead other then saying eventually this to will pass. Hang in there and if the depression is getting to you definitely go talk to your physician and let him know what you are going through. It may not be depression it may be stress which by the way can make you sick.

Take care!

I see you have gone the DCF route so I assume that you both are together, which is a positive. A lot of people were apart for the 1 year or more that it took them to get through this journey. All I can say is hang in there... immigration cant take forever.

UM JOHN. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO GET AT? Your comments are very RUDE
If your hand got cut off would you say "Oh well, I don't have insurance so I'll just have to live without a hand"?

Nothing I said is rude. I gave you good advice and a simple analogy. Perhaps you find it rude because it's not what you want to hear and I didn't shower you with pity.

I think pity will only feed your search for validation of your feelings and does nothing to help.

I am going to agree with John once again. You ask for advice, and the best advice you could possibly get is to seek some form of medical help. There is nothing in your comments that deserve any form of sugar coating it is what it is.

We have all been through the stress of our individual journey, and have an understanding to a degree of what you are feeling. Stress causes anxiety which can lead to depression and if you can't handle these feelings on your own then do look for help outside.
