They do care about current income and she can try bringing in pay stubs and employment letter.  But with it being a very new job they may or may not accept it.  They look at the totality of the circumstances to determine if you may become a public charge.  It is probably a good idea to have a Joint Sponsor just in case.  I am sure others will come along to add more to this.

I forgot to ask where you are in the process.  If you have just filed she has plenty of time to work and get more pay stubs.  Of course she had a low income last year so they may factor that it.

Thanks for your reply.

So, only the I-129F was sent 1 week ago. We didn’t get any notifications yet from them. My fiancée just told me they did the $535 paiement (she saw it today on the Chase application).

The process is obviously barely starting.

Her dad can co sponsor us : he makes more than 130k/ year however he has to support his wife, and his wife’s mom (it should be more than the requirements for 5 persons?)

thank you

5 people?  Do you have a child?   Petitioner isn't counted with the joint sponsor.   Beneficiary  1, father 1, wife 1, MIL 1  = 4  (child would be one more)
