K1 visa police certificate name issue

Hi, hoping I could just some advice and help.

I'm a duel citizen Irish and Bahraini and I have different names on both passports.

I've entered both countries over the years with the passport from that country, so I would have to get any visas.

The police station in bahrain wont give me a police cert with my irish passport name as I'm not in their system with that name. Even though last October I entered the country with my irish passport.

I've already had my interview in ireland.

They stated that I need another police cert from Bahrain with the name that I was missing on it. Which is a middle name as well as both passports having different spellings for my family name.

Has anyone had this issue before where they were unable to get a police cert with a certain name or correct name spelling on it? And the police station refusing to give you a police cert with that name on it. What did you do?

Thank you very much

I hope someone with actual experience can weigh in here soon but in the meantime just an idea:

Try to get the Bahraini police to give you the refusal in writing, and send that to the embassy with an explanation, maybe you'll get lucky and they'll be happy with that.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I got this advice from someone else already. And I'm trying to get that paperwork. But I'm not convinced that will be enough.

As everything I guess it will be at the immigration officers discretion, all you can do is try. I wish you good luck!

You have two completely different legal names?  I have never heard of that.  Usually if there is a legal name change (from birth certificate name), one gets a legal document pertaining to that, such as a court document.

Maybe, just maybe @Jorgedig was trying to get a better understanding of why you had two different names. This could be Information that can sometimes lead to and answer to your question. I think at this point you have just cut off anyone wishing to reply as they may be insulted. I for one won't take a stab at this, so good luck in finding an answer. Oy Vey!

Why did you not make sure both names were correct so that you had only one name?  I assume you are from Bahrain? You will likely need to get your Irish passport corrected, run your police check with both names in Ireland, and then spend a good time explaining why you didn't make sure your name was correct on both passports.
