UPLOAD LINKS NOT AT ALL AVAILABLE AS IT SHOWS OLD SITE

Hi,

I am a greencard holder and have filed I-130 for greencard for my wife and minor children and the case is for Mumbai, India and starts with BMB.

All the affidavit of support fees and visa application fees were paid in August 2018 (that is right two thousand EIGHTEEN).

At the time of paying the fees, on CEAC website there was no option for UPLOAD of documents for BMB cases. Paper documents had to be sent.

As mentioned above, I received a bar coded COVER SHEET in August 2018 from NVC in email to be post mailed along with documents in paper form to

National Visa Center
Attn. CMR AOS
31 Rochester Avenue Suite 100
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

Principal Applicant:
Wife Name

BMBCaseNumber

The case became current in November 2018. However, I did not file affidavit of support or visa applications at that time even though fees were already paid in 2018 and only started further process recently in February 2020.

The site now clearly states that DO NOT MAIL any documents to NVC and upload everything.

However, I am still seeing the old site and it DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY LINKS TO UPLOAD documents.

What do I do ?

I have already tried to contact NVC on phone multiple times a day in morning, afternoon, evening, late night from many days and nobody ever comes on line. Automatic message followed by call again later is all I get.

I have already written to NVC using their form available on their website and no response yet. They say as of 10-Feb-2020, they are responding to mails received in December 2019.

I am planning to send documents to NVC at the address mentioned in the cover sheet by certified mail now as the rule changes from 24th and I will have post marked by this week.

Has anyone faced a similar issue of UPLOAD link NOT AVAILABLE. How was it resolved ?

Any help at the earliest will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Today afternoon. I try everyday few times a day from past week. Always automated message and try later.

I do not understand why they do not have system to call back the customer when number in queue is reached like many other government departments. This way, call will be answered at least. They can ask for case number to be keyed in for providing call back service if they require to identify actual cases and do not want to answer everybody at a priority.

NO... I mean you didn't do any processing for several years.  Did more than 1 year go by between your contact at the NVC?  I do not mean when you've tried recently.

No. I ensured that I contacted NVC within one year and my case is current and at NVC. It is just that I paid fees in Aug-2018 and am filling forms in 2020.

I had contacted NVC in 2019, logged in their website, changed my address etc.

The problem I face is NOT finding UPLOAD links. NVC did allow me to fill the visa application form in Feb-2020 and shows the status properly as completed. It is just that it shows old site which does not have UPLOAD document links or the flowchart that shows on new website.

Then you may need to send them the paperwork.  Try calling them tomorrow when they open, and ask for a supervisor review to move your information to the new site.  They may have to change your case number as well.

Thanks a lot for the update. I will try to call them again tomorrow. Trouble is real person should come on phone for me to speak to someone.

And in any case, as they did allow me to fill the application and sign and submit it on the old system, they should have automatically moved me to the new system or notified me that I should continue with sending them the forms the old way in postal mail at the very least and not worry about uploading them as per their instructions on website for public in general.

Not providing with any information leads to more confusion.
