Hey Guys,

so we received our NOA2 from USCIS on Dec, 5th 2019. Since then we haven't heard anything from the NVC. And it's impossible to reach them. I sent an inquiry via Email. But right now they answer Emails from 3 months ago. We tried calling them like 50 times for several days, but can't reach an operator. The NOA2 says we should contact the NVC if we haven't heard anything after 30 days. Now it's been over 60 days and still no notice from the NVC and we still can't reach them. Is that normal? What can we do?

Appreciate your help!

The NVC number we called is 603-334-0700. Expect to be put on hold for a long long long time. I was put on hold for over 40-minutes. You'll have to be really patient and you'll eventually get a real person to talk to. Have your NOA 2 handy as they'll ask you for the receipt number. They'll also ask few basic questions to verify your identity. When we called, they provided us with a Case Number. You'll need that number  to create an account and be able to apply for the actual visa. Just like you, we had to wait for a while (45+ days) before we got an e-mail from the consulate with instructions and Packet 3. Good Luck

Thank you qrk!

That is the number i tried to call so many times. Not once did they put me on hold. I hear a voicemessage, stating that they are busy etc. and then they hang up on me. I would wait on hold for 12 hours if i would only get to that point..! It's so nerve wrecking cause we dont even know if they received our case. I read articels that said, cases got lost before even going through to the NVC
Thank you for the information!

a few months ago when we were at that stage there was a trick, I'm not sure if it still applies:

When you call NVC most of the time it goes straight to voicemail without ever ringing. In that case hang up because its gonna play the text then hang up on you without ever putting you in the waiting loop to talk to someone. If there is even a single ringtone prior to the voicemail picking up stay on the line because you will be able to get to the waiting loop after answering some questions, and will eventually get to talk to someone.
