What do you mean a date change? Does that mean they touched your case? How can you tell? Does something change when you log into NVC or did you call?

How can you tell though? We submitted everything to NVC on May 29.  I can see on the NVC login where it shows Submitted, but don’t see any other info. Do they send something when the touch the case or does it display somewhere I’m not checking?

Your case was already approved with USCIS?

we are still waiting on approvals didnot reach NVC stage yet

I believe they require the originals only at the interview so if you have the originals with you, you may have to send them to Israel unless there is another way to get them from Israel's government office and have it delivered and addressed to your dad's so he can take it with him for the interview.

they're currently looking at February so you should be (hopefully) hearing something in the coming weeks.

It is amazing that you got the Visa within 6-7 months of filing.  What kind of Visa ? When did you appear for the Interview ?
