Hi there I’m just completing my D-160 and inputing my previous addresses when I completed the I-130 with my wife we put her American address on there as well as my primary Canadian address for current addresses although I put hers on there it was not a primary residence but we figured it would be good at the time show we were living together as we were between Canada and the US. Should I also add it on the D160?

You haven't lived in the USA yet tho have you?

Well not officially no I was there for a few months and had moved in with my now wife while I was there! And like I said we had listed her address as one of my addresses on the

I-130. But no it was never my primary residence only while on an extended holiday I suppose. I just submitted my DS-260 with out it though I guess if they ask me I have an explanation!

Hope you are completing the DS-260  for an immigrant visa.  The DS-160 is for a non-immigrant visa.

It should be fine.  I had a US address for 3 months because i was doing an internship in 2000. But you really didnt need to do that since you were visiting not living there. You cant overlap addresses. So if your primary was still a Canadian address then put that an explain at interview if they ask, which they likely won't.
