Hello-

I'm trying to figure out the best time to submit everything to NVC. My son finishes Dawson College in Montreal in December of this year. I thought the wait time was +-3 months from document submission to interview. I'm seeing 7-8  months for F2A category. Is this right?

Also- Can someone please tell me how long the police certificates are valid for? I'd like to get them done now-one less thing to do.

Thanks in advance

I am F3 but I've seen a few F2 here. They waited 7 and 8 months for their interview letters 8 and 9 months to actual interview. Their interviews were November and December 2019

Police checks last a year. They had to get them done again. I probably will too. Mine expires in May and February will be 7 months waiting for my IL so I'm hoping to hear something soon.

I believe Police clearance certificates are valid for one year from the date they were issued. However, police clearance certificates from the country in which you currently reside have to have been issued within six months from when you submit your application for permanent residence.

I'm not sure I understand. The police certs would be for my son ,18, who has lived in Montreal his whole life. Is it 6 or 12? Thanks
