Promise he will be the nominee and it will be no big deal. He will get a pass from the woke gang.

Democrats=Slavery, Jim Crow, Anti Civil rights

Bill, Hillary and Biden called them super predators

People will vote for him because orange is a bad color.  Never mind his personal politics.

Don't know a single person who thinks he's a decent candidate. I think his mayoral record is nothing to celebrate. He's getting traction because he's spending a lot, and he has pledged to spend a lot for whoever is the eventual nominee. It won't be him. My money right now is on Sanders getting the nomination. Bloomberg is a sideshow, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Careful, that's what many of us said about Trump in early 2016.

Money DOES seem to buy many things.

Yes. It bought me peace of mind, personally.

Ultimately the only polls that count are primaries. My predictions are as worthless as anyone else's.

I would love to agree with you, but I've spoken to a few people, mainly white people where what he did in new york does not matter to them, who think bloomberg is the best candidate. Pretty sad but I think he might get the nomination too because of the obvious hatred the dnc has towards bernie. Obviously I dont like bloomberg either

To me, bloomberg is a lot worse than trump. I don't think we have on record trump saying some of the things bloomberg has said

I'm sure for some people, Bloomberg seems like a viable candidate. But he really isn't. I've had the night to think about what any of this means, and I kind of am not too sure anymore about Sanders -- I think it could be Buttigieg or Klobuchar now, but a lot depends on the coming few weeks. Not counting them out at all. Bloomberg's name just enrages the people I talk to. So all you and I and everyone else has now is anecdata. We'll see where the chips fall. :)

Would you like to put some money up behind that guarantee? :P I don't agree with you, but that's okay.

That was someone else’s money.  So free to you.  You should be so proud.

No, it is my money because someone else agreed to give it to me. Actually, a lot of that money wasn't even earned by him anyway -- family money/property. His choice to do it. :) As much as he can't stand my fiance, he's very pro-me getting remarried ASAP so the support tap is turned off. But enough about me. :P

But you know, if the majority of people and the electoral college go in favor of the Democratic candidate, then it isn't really the opposite at all, even if it isn't completely analogous (there really is no analogue in this situation, but if you are going to stretch the point, I might as well too :P).

Actually, it is just the electoral college as we know the national vote tally is a worthless number.  Besides, it is not just the President that can make this happen.

There is a reason we have Senators also. Same exact principal as the electoral college

I know how the election works, but if we're thinking about "how many people in principle support X candidate's campaign" the national vote tally is useful.
