A good win for Bernie.

I assume CNN will get the nod from the DNC.

The interesting thing is, the plethora of people competing with Bernie are moderates. Most of them hate Bernie and cater to this very media. Together, if they'd get behind a candidate, they would dwarf Bernie, yet, they're playing to strengthening him. Why? Who knows. Trying to keep Bernie people interested until screwing them in the end is only going to alienate them like it did in 2016 (not going to cause them to have a stronger/more galvanized attachment to Democrats), except 2020 Trump is in a far better position than the 2016 Trump, which means this tactic would hurt way more now than 4 years ago. It would've been better to combine them sooner rather than later. Warren is right in that respect, and her speech praising everyone else sounded more like an unofficial concession which might stand to hurt her more in later primaries until she finally drops out. Of course, her speech was also anti-Bernie vitriol as well.

Mayor Pete and Elizabeth Warren are no moderates.  They may try to play one in front of the cameras, but just a little digging shows they are currently in the same camp as Bernie, Yang, and Steyer.  Amy, Joe and Gababrd are the most moderate, but as we all know, Tulsi is a Russian plant.

Indeed they're playing moderates when looking at it from the Democrat perspective and particularly against Sanders. Even as far as "democratic socialists" (social democrats) are concerned, he's more of a socialist than most European leaders. No doubt, the ideas of "$22/hr minimum wage", "open borders" and all the other freebies and lunatic ideas from Warren/Buttigieg are nowhere near moderate, but they aren't that different than what Amy, Joe, and Tulsi are offering. Tulsi comes off as a moderate because she hasn't been a front runner and not attacked much, but as someone who has followed Tulsi, she does have some serious leftist grassroots, and ties to Antifa, which would become more front and center if she were to suddenly become a contender (which seems unlikely at this point). Not saying she's as far as Bernie, but she's right in the pack with all the others. She and Bernie are probably among the least "corrupt" and most consistent, which is why Hillary hates her so much.

You are right, even someone you might think of as a moderate Democrat for some reason is abandoning those ideals and embracing the Bernie/AOC wing making that much more mainstream.  I know Bernie scoffs when someone, including President Trump, calls him a communist, but if he is indeed a Democratic Socialist of America, and embraces their ideals, then he is a communists as they definitely want to control the economic capital of the country.

Bill gets it. It's all about perception, and when I say perception I think of it (in an ADHD way) like a cartesian two-dimensional graph which is particularly used for understanding how one is "positioned" especially relative to certain segments. Candidates (and worse off, elected politicians) tend to try and blend their policies and perception (and that's the idea), but their "positioning" is entirely perception. This is precisely why they make lofty promises they know they can't deliver on. They need some way to differentiate themselves without results they can't achieve (which is why they can't realistically ever give people an accurate pathway to the deliverables), and the trend, as you referred to, is to move leftward (<- shifting the overton window) to try and attract the far left which are growing in numbers, thus "mainstreaming" that leftism.

In turn, it's alienating independents, moderates, and in their fervent identity politics, they found themselves focusing their differentiation far too much on illegals, alienating other segments, especially Hispanics that aren't prone to the illegal immigrant debate, Blacks, feminists (what they call "TERFS"), etc.

Go! Bernie! Go!!!   If Bernie somehow wins the nomination, the general election will be one of the biggest landslides in modern history....Sanders' plans are not economically possible........and it will result in a catastrophic split in the Democrats' party.

What is so laughable is all of the leading candidates saying the Party would unite at the end of the nomination process.  Wishful thinking I believe as if Bernie is not anointed this time, his supporters are not going to unite for anyone with a "D" next to their name.

Exactly.  The party of the donkey is already splitting......and it will worsen over the next few months...no matter who is nominated......I have seen news articles that say Trump is effectively scooping up independents and disgruntled Dems already.

Another take-away from NH.  Not hearing much about this from the Leftist media sources.

Much of the attention during New Hampshire’s primary was focused on the Democratic candidates vying for the party’s nomination, but President Trump’s strong performance should not be overlooked.

The final numbers aren’t in yet, but it’s clear Trump won more than 100,000 votes among Republican and independent voters. That’s more than double the roughly 49,000 that President Barack Obama won among Democratic voters in New Hampshire’s 2012 primary when he ran uncontested for reelection, and it’s at least 35,000 votes more than Bernie Sanders, who is currently leading the Democratic field.

There are important differences, to be sure, but Trump’s significant gains prove he is still generating an unprecedented amount of enthusiasm.

Warren isn't renewing her ads past the NH schedule which runs up to the 16th. The calendar shows Nevada votes on the 22nd, SC the 29th. Compare that to Klobuchar who, within minutes of results being released, immediately went nuts on ads for Nevada and SC. If you look at these actions combined with her conciliatory speech, almost sounds like an impending drop out.
