I did used to use the SF Tube but that was a long time ago, not sure what it would be like now.

But the criss cross mentioned above is one of the issues with Public Transport that works much better on a radial basis.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The 110 from Pasadena to that interchange is horrendous at best. They built that road from a old road that was built for wagons initially. So that is why there are so many twists and turns with sucky on/off ramps. Then when you get down to the 5 and Dodger stadium that is just a wreck waiting to happen. Which is exactly what the 210 and 134 interchange is, and people wonder why there is a accident everyday there.

But as to public transit in LA.... You never want to go on it if you can and never at night. There are too many drug addicts/vagrants that make it unsafe.

The Expo Line is fine, at least the portion that I have been riding (Downtown Santa Monica to Downtown Culver City) -- it goes through West LA and the worst I've seen happen on there is overcrowding. I did take it to Downtown LA once out of curiosity and it got worse after Culver City. The Big Blue Bus in Santa Monica is also pretty okay as buses go -- I took one the other day to go to the Kreation Juicery in Brentwood and it was clean and on time. But to be fair all of this is daytime riding in a well off part of the city!

OMG, speaking of Kreation Juicery, when I was there I found out they sell a concoction called Poop Enforcer. I was cracking up and the person I was meeting up with there said to me very seriously, "Don't laugh, that stuff is powerful. magic." I tried to compose myself but I was laughing again pretty quickly. LA cracks me up in totally different ways than Berkeley.

It is a sort of Comedy of Errors, Britbox has the BBC last version.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I can't recall if saw that version, but I do remember the one with Gwyneth Paltrow. I have been dithering on the Britbox subscription, since we already have SO many subs -- Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Google TV (which we have instead of cable). I really would be getting it for him, but he says he doesn't care unless it provides more Scottish Premiership football. As it stands, he has to do all sorts of things with VPNs to be able to watch most (but not all) of the St Johnstone matches. We've been watching Six Nations matches on Google TV, but they have them on like 3 hour delays so we have to be careful to avoid spoilers. That Scotland v England match last weekend was horrific to watch because of the weather, the wind was insane.

Certainly for my team I can get IFollow, not sure what they do in Scotland, not that cheap weirdly. Britbox is relatively cheap.

Have not seen Gwyneth's one, this is the one I have seen:

Wow, the mix in that trailer is horrendous! You can barely hear the dialogue over the music.

Bleacher Report has some of the matches live, but not all. When you follow one of the basement dwellers like he does (though they have been doing a little better recently) it's harder to see them live as opposed to Celtic or Rangers. I looked up iFollow and it isn't available for the SPL.

Probably a YouTube upload issue, certainly fine on Britbox.

I have no suggestions on SPL, I sometimes follow a game on Twitter, not perfect but usually somebody posts the goals. Once on Facebook I came across a Party I think it is called and somebody was putting up the match from their stream.

There is nothing to stop those who wish to take action, taking action. However they seem more interested in telling others to do so that somewhat weakens their position.

Hmm, aren't there a lot of folks that say they are strong supporters of the Green New Deal that are jetting (emitting GHG) all over the country?  Wouldn't it be more appropriate to do all their appearances via video chat and keep all their hot air concentrated in one place?

If only we could somehow capture that hot air, an unlimited unlimited source.

You wonder why it is fine it is because of the bolded words above specifically "West LA". You know where a lot of the money is that lives in LA. Try going down the Gold line which is ok at best but the Red Line is just awful. I would never ride the bus in LA at all due to all the low lifes that ride it. When we lived in Pasadena my wife had a Filipina friend of hers who took the bus EVERYWHERE because her husband didn't want to teach her to drive. So she would take the Foothill bus from East Pasadena to Central Pasadena and on to Glendale all the time with kids in tow. I would have never made my wife do that but that woman thought it was ok so big ups to her.

This is one thing that I am getting ready to crack down on is all my subscriptions to news sites because I subscribe to 3 already and it's getting a bit much tbh with you. What pissed me off is that the WSJ upped the digital subscription to $35 a month. So that is my first one on the chopping block.

Perpetual energy source even able to provide energy on a still calm night.
