Hi all

Few days back i entered on cr1 visa but it was a week after my second Anniversary.

Officer wrote cr1on stamp  instead of ir1.

I Tried to contact uscis regarding this and they Said it doesn't matter even if you enter before or after second Anniversary. Officer decides the time they process your green card. Any with same experience ? I was expecting ir1

Will appreciate your Answers

Your card will a 10 year Green Card.   What the officer stamps at POE is irrelevant.  The officer who stamped your passport does NOT decide which card you get.......your card will be processed by the records you submitted...

If, by chance they make a mistake (unlikely), you will submit an I-90 to have the card corrected.....
