that'y my bday :D

November 25th here (exactly 2 years we've been together)

A good day all round then - happy birthday for four weeks ago!! (Just realised today is our four-week wedding anniversary! :lol: )

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I was hoping for an October wedding, instead I had to settle for Nov 7, 2004. It worked out though, it was a beautiful sunny warm day. :)

I was concerned it was going to be cold, but actually it was in the lower 60’s, and sunny. It was a beautiful day… I couldn’t stop smiling that day!! It’s been a year and so… and I’m still smiling!

Nov 8 2004 : Received response from CSC that my file is being requested & review will be done

Nov 10 2004 : Email & online status Approved

Nov 15 2004 : NOA 2 in mail

Dec 16 2004 : NVC assigns case number

Dec 20 2004 : NVC sent DS 3032 to beneficiary, copy of DS 3032 & I-864 fee bill to petitioner

Jan 3 2005 : Petitioner received copy of DS 3032 and I-864 fee bill. Post-marked Dec 23rd.

Jan 11 2005 : Beneficiary received DS 3032 in Indonesia

Jan 31 2005 : Sent DS 3032 to NVC

Feb 8, 2005 : NVC received DS 3032

If our spouses come in on K1 there aren't many options for the month...

It seems many couples marry on February 14th as well (if possible ) (L)

It was fine with me to get married in March - as soon as my husband arrived, but he wanted it to be on his birthday which I thought was great!

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

6/10/07: IV bill received by NVC

06/15/07: Sent I-864 Packet to NVC

6/28/07: Mailed DS230

7/16/07: Case complete!

Interview: 9/6/07@8:00 a.m.

9/7/07 Visa in hand!!

11/15/07: Green Card Arrives
