We got married in March 2004... but I had always wanted to get married in May or June... but I couldn't make hubby wait any longer then that.. he had wanted to get married in January 2004... :P and gave me about 2 or 3 weeks notice but I managed to convince that we could wait until March....

it was kind of dreary because none of the flowers were blooming yet and the trees were still bare.... but it was still a great day because I got to marry the love of my life :D

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

We got married on April 29th. It's my husband birthday and he chose the date - says he has a lot to celebrate now. Our wedding was the BEST party - I'd want a birthday party like that too.

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

December. We didn't want a January wedding, February was too cold and March was too late...LOL So December it was, a nice Christmassy month, all the decorations were up and the whole place had a nice atmosphere.
