Vietnam: Physical address and temporary registration book

Hello everyone, I am in the process of assembling the I-129f package for my Vietnamese fiancée. So far it's simple enough but I am concerned about the requirement for her physical address. She tells me it's normal for Vietnamese living in Saigon to have a temporary registration indicating a residence that does not accurately reflect their current physical address. Her sister is a homeowner here and possesses the book that lists my fiancée as a resident there while my fiancée actually resides in an apartment elsewhere in the city. My gut feeling is to input her address as listed in the registration book, but I worry that any discrepancy here would be grounds for rejection if discovered? I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use the address that list on registration book. In case any mail coming, her sister can get it. There is no ground of rejection because address in Saigon is sometime not accurate, so the CO totally understand about it.

Thanks, I'm still trying to decide what to do about the address situation.

Would it be better to input her historical physical addresses same as those listed on her official documents (household book)? Or should I list her actual physical addresses? I ask because the official documents show her in Central Vietnam during a time when she was working in Ho Chi Minh City (which is reflected in her employment history on the I-129f).

Basically inputting the addresses is driving me a bit crazy. As an American I want to input everything completely accurately, but here in Vietnam paperwork and reality don't exactly agree! I'm probably overthinking things...

I would put the address listed in the book where she will likely get any mail. My wife also had many work addresses over the years but we put the permanent address from the book, in case she gets any mail. Its quite common here to have many addresses.

But put the one in the Red Book. As has been said before me, in the event she gets mail, she will get it then with her sister's address and its normal here.

Good Luck with everything!!
