I just realized this was in the PH forum already. So sorry....you're already good. 👍 I missed it apparently.

Manila typically issues the visa - assuming no issues - within a week. Maybe 2.

If there's a 221(g), then it depends on the cause of the 221(g). If it's due to something like missing documents and there are no other issues, then usually within a couple weeks to month seems pretty typical.

If it's not due to a missing document, or there are other issues than just a missing document, then there is no "typical" timeline really. It could be weeks. It could be months. rarely it could be longer.

I know it varies but to those who did their interviews late 2019 to now, how long did it take?

For those who got a 221g, what was it for and how long did you it take to get your passport?

Thanks!

Once your CEAC status shows ISSUED it can be 3-10 business days, with picking up the visa at 2GO in MOA close to the 3 days.

A 221g can add weeks or even months to the wait just to get to ISSUED status, this varies dramatically depending on what was asked for in the 221g.

Our interview was September 8, 2019.  Then a 221g was issued on October 20 2019.  Sent out documents on October 30 and on November 5 it was received with an email stating they needed 4 to 5 days to finish their review and get back to us. We have not heard anything since and only a few updates on CEAC since then. Still waiting  😭

So sorry to hear that. What was the 221g for, if you don't mind sharing? Have you tried contacting the embassy (email/phone)? Hope you get good news soon!

It was for the same exact evidence we dropped off 2 week prior to our interview....evidence of our relationship including photos etc. They had it for two weeks. Shows you that they dont even review anything. So we basically just sent the same exact package out.
